In an area of natural beauty with meandering rivers, hilltop villages and historic
towns you can enjoy both stunning countryside and impressive architecture.
Au ciel bleu is perfectly located to discover the cultural wealth of this sunny part of South West
France .
A visit to Cordes-sur-Ciel, one of France's biggest walled medieval cities should always be
part of your stay. The city is the jewel amongst the albigentian hilltop villages which are all worth visiting.
Sunflower fields and rolling hills will line your way and local wine growers will always invite you to a glass of wine.

St Antonin Noble Val |

St. Antonin-Noble-Val, located between le Rouergue and le Quercy area, is one of the oldest
towns in this corner of South West France. Dominated by the river and its valley's limestone cliffs it remains its medeaval
aspects. The Sunday's market should not be missed.
From our house you can visit no less than nine of France's official 'most beautiful villages', each
one of them within easy distance, like Najac in the Aveyron department. Puycelci, Castelnau-de-Montmiral in the
Tarn department and Bruniquel in our own Tarn-et-Garonne department are equally worth the quick drive.

Najac |
We love spending a day in Albi - a stunning cathedral city, birthplace of the famous painter Toulouse -Lautrec and
with the entire town centre built in pink brick. Have a stroll through the historic heart, take a walk along the
river Tarn and maybe have a picnic on its bank.
